Glenn Gibson
Glenn's work covers a 30 year period. During the late eighties he was one of the youngest ever A grade staff photographers to work on The Australian Newspaper where he won four National press photo awards including the 1988 National Press Photo of the year for his compelling portrait of former MI5 spy Peter Wright.
A highly successful freelance career followed and he spent the early nineties shooting personalities and events for major Australian and International magazines.
Over the last 15 years Glenn has had significant international acclaim as an automotive photographer and he has worked around the world for global automotive companies. Glenn has always continued his own personal work through the years and is increasingly spending more time preparing this and other recent work for limited edition fine art printing. Three exhibitions are in the making for the next 18 months with a retrospective exhibition planned at Eleven40 for early 2012.
